Activity and Timing Estimates

Waldup provides automated timing estimates for trail and ultra running activities. These are indicative only. You are solely responsible for assessing your own fitness level, experience, and terrain and weather conditions before undertaking any outdoor activity. Waldup accepts no liability for any accident, injury, or loss arising from reliance on the information provided by the platform.

Accuracy of Information

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of route data, elevation profiles, and timing estimates, we cannot guarantee their completeness or correctness. Always use official maps and follow local regulations and trail rules.

Third-Party Services

Waldup integrates with third-party services (including Stripe for payments, Mapbox and OpenStreetMap for mapping). We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of those services.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Waldup ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Waldup. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Permitted Use

You may use Waldup solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform
• Use the Service to distribute spam or malicious content
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your profile page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks associated with Waldup are the property of Waldup or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

User Content

By uploading GPX files or other content to Waldup, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You retain all ownership of your content. We do not sell or share your content with third parties.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including accounts with abusive usage patterns (e.g. bulk automated activity creation).

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich.
